This study aims to simplify and explain modern linguistic schools to students of knowledge, considering the complexity and difficulty they face when reading certain books. The study includes two main ideas: the Transformational-Generative School and its application of principles and ideas to Arabic texts. Other schools will be addressed in future studies. The research consists of an introduction, six sections, and a conclusion. The sections cover the following topics: the differences between the Transformational-Generative School and the Behavioral-Structural School, the origins of ideas in the Transformational-Generative School, its ideas in linguistic competence and speech performance, surface structure and deep structure, and sentence analysis in Transformational-Generative syntax and its rules. The research concludes with the main findings and a list of references. This study aims to simplify linguistic schools, provide better understanding for students, and enhance scientific exchange in this field.
