Abstract

In both Greek and Latin, which are inflected languages, the feature of grammatical analysis (i'rab) clarifies the relationships between the words in the sentence. Thus, the reader understands the function of each word, while the writer is given the freedom to move words around, whether forwards or backwards, for stylistic or rhetorical reasons, without fearing ambiguity or confusion. Before delving into the use of both languages for some cases of grammatical analysis to express causality, we must mention the number of cases of grammatical analysis in Greek and Latin. The former contains five cases of inflection, while the latter encompasses six cases.
