Dimensions of transformational leadership and its relationship to organizational commitment among the administrators of the public secondary schools in the city of Derna.

This study aimed to know the extent of the contribution of transformational leadership in its various dimensions in achieving organizational commitment among the administrators of public secondary schools in the city of Derna. According to the literature, “idealized influence, Inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration” have accepted as dimensions of transformational leadership. The data, a questionnaire consisting of (31) items was used; A sample of (149) administrators was conducted, and descriptive statistics were used to answer the study's questions. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that public secondary schools in the city of Derna distinguished by the use of the transformational leadership style with its different dimensions (idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration). As well as the excellence of administrators with organizational commitment, and it found that transformational leadership contributes in effectively morally in achieving organizational commitment among administrators.
