Abstract

The main idea around which the research revolves is the issue of personality and its manifestations. What is meant here is the issue of personality in the Libyan society, especially after the changes that occurred to it, specifically after the February uprising. It is not only a matter for research and a subject for discussion, and a scientific luxury. Rather, it has become one of the concerns of a society torn apart by conflicts, dispersed by wars, in which crises exceeded. Also, the war the conflict, aspects of tribalism, regionalism, division, violence and extremism prevailed, and factional demands spread. Everyone is fighting everyone, and there has been a systematic trend towards wasting the country's capabilities, and seizing everything that reaches the hand away from the principle of efficiency. So, kinship, interest, and ideology are dominant. All of the above makes us today looking for aspects and commonalities that unite, do not separate, establish and do not demolish. Perhaps this required manifestation makes us search first for the features of the Libyan society’s personality, its roots, features, dimensions of its formation, and characteristics as they are the real actors on a fragile and ambiguous basis. And through deep search into the cultural depth, social heritage, historical dimension, and the identification of human capital, there will be an attempt to anticipate the future of the Libyan society, its formations and its features. In order to present the subject in a more in-depth and organized manner, the subject will be divided into three main sections, relying on an intersectional methodology, and by adopting the theory of culture as a theoretical approach that explains the issue of personality.
