Abstract

The Libyan language is part of the Afro-Asiatic language family, sharing this classification with Ancient Egyptian and Kushitic languages. Unfortunately, this language lacks literary documentation, making research on it challenging. It's worth noting that some Libyan language characters have Phoenician references, prompting some researchers to attempt to link it to the Insular Celtic language family, which shares certain general characteristics. In this study, we explore the Libyan language, characterized by its trilateral roots. We delve into personal pronouns functioning as possessive pronouns, verbs with a single conjugation, verb tenses, as well as nouns, reminders, and femininity markers in this language.
