Towards Developing Objectives for Citizenship Education.

This research explores the concept and dimensions of citizenship and emphasizes the importance of developing objectives for citizenship education in light of rapid global changes and the revolution of information technology and communication. The research aims to achieve quality in educational systems and enhance the capacities of young individuals to become responsible citizens actively engaged in society, caring about its issues and priorities. The concept of citizenship is analyzed from sociological, legal, and Islamic perspectives, and the concept and objectives of citizenship education are examined. The paper includes the development of educational competencies that contribute to the achievement of citizenship education objectives.
