Obstacles facing psychological counselors in public basic education schools in Al-Bayda city from the point of view of the counselors themselves

The study aimed to explore the obstacles facing psychological counsellors in public schools to put into practice the generalized psychological counselling plan from the Ministry of Education, as well as to identify the differences between psychological counsellors in public schools in implementing the generalized psychological counselling plan from the Ministry of Education according to the variable of experience. The final sample of 84 female psychological counsellors from public schools for basic education in the city of Al-Bayda. They were chosen by the simple random method, and a scale prepared by the researcher was applied to them, which includes thirty items distributed over three dimensions. After analyzing the data, the study reached the following results. while researcher did not have any obstacles in the dimensions of the counselling process and the dimension of school management support for the counsellor. The study also found that there are no statistically significant differences between counsellors who have less than 10 years of experience and those with more than 10 years of experience in the obstacles they face during their work in Schools, and based on the previous study, the research concluded a number of recommendations and suggestions.
