Abstract

This paper reviews the general trends of the experiences of international educational institutions in establishing rules and standards for training professionals working in the field of clinical psychology. The paper calls for the initiative to establish professional institutes in Libya to confront the acute shortage of professionals working in the field of mental health, guided by the previous experiences of these countries, and suggests Creating a limited number of these vocational institutes in cities where field training institutions are available, focusing on the quality of preparation and competence of graduates and not on their numbers.
