Tort liability for the vector of coronavirus infection in Libyan law

In previous years, the world witnessed a wide spread of the Corona virus, which led to an infections as well as deaths, and the matter became a threat to the entire world, which made the World Health Organization call this virus the term Corona pandemic; in view of the damage caused by this virus, and due to the individuals' failure to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures and measures imposed by the countries of the world, including Libya, such as quarantine and other measures to confront this health of infection, and in view of the damages caused by this pandemic at all levels, it was necessary to research the general provisions of civil liability in Libyan law and to determine the legal basis for liability for the carrier of the Corona virus infection, and to know the adequacy of the general rules of tort liability. and the extent to which it is appropriate for the damages arising from the infection of the Corona virus, in order to understand the subject from the legal side, as there are no legal texts in Libya law that contain special and direct provisions for the carrier of Corona virus infection in particular, and other concerned viruses in general.
