Abstract

Effective management plays a crucial role in scientific progress and development in our current era. Leadership is considered the backbone of any institution, whether large or small. Achieving success and development requires the presence of a wise, knowledgeable, and competent leader. Society attaches great importance to leadership due to its significance in achieving the aspirations of communities. With the increasing focus on comprehensive quality, the development of leadership, the use of best practices, and the selection of optimal leadership qualities become necessary to improve performance and advance societies. Leadership refers to initiation and movement, and it can be divided into initiating and accomplishing work. The leader is considered the first person in the state or the governing body, where orders and instructions are executed by subordinates. Leadership is an important phenomenon in the life of groups and work organization, and it requires essential personal leadership qualities. Leadership represents a personal relationship that allows the leader to influence the behavior of individuals and requires the necessary information to make decisions. Leadership needs continuous review and development to achieve it effectively and is characterized by a set of important leadership qualities.
