This study aimed to identify the role of intellectual capital in the quality of institutional performance at the Faculty of Arts at Omar Al-Mukhtar University from the perspective of its department heads. The study also sought to identify which component of intellectual capital was most available at the Faculty of Arts. To achieve these objectives, a descriptive analytical approach was used, and a questionnaire was employed as the data collection tool. A comprehensive survey was conducted on the entire study population, which consisted of all 11 heads of the scientific departments at the Faculty of Arts. After analyzing the responses, the study found that the role of intellectual capital at the faculty was moderate, and the level of institutional performance was also moderate. The most available components of intellectual capital were human capital, followed by structural capital, while relational capital was the least available.
