Training Needs and Their Role in Enhancing the Professional Performance Efficiency of Faculty Members in the College of Education at Omar Al-Mukhtar University: Their Perspective

The present study aims to identify the role of training needs in enhancing the professional performance efficiency of faculty members. The study sample consisted of (61) faculty members from the College of Education, selected through a stratified random sampling method. To collect data and information, the researcher employed a descriptive approach and administered a questionnaire after verifying its validity. For data analysis, the hypothetical mean, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and reliability coefficient were calculated. The reliability coefficient value indicated consistent results The findings revealed that identifying the training needs of faculty members contributes to the development and improvement of their professional performance levels. Additionally, the results demonstrated that faculty members in the College of Education face a shortage of training courses and programs in areas such as modern teaching methods, scientific research, and the use of modern technology and information networks to elevate their professional performance standards.
