Empathy among Omar Al-Mukhtar University Students in Light of Some Demographic Variables

Abstract

This research aimed to identify empathy among Omar Al-Mukhtar University students in light of some demographic variables. The study sample consisted of (140) male and female students from Omar Al-Mukhtar University. The research employed a descriptive methodology, and the researcher used an empathy scale developed by the researcher as a data collection tool. The research findings indicate that empathy is moderate among university students. The results also showed no differences in empathy based on gender, major, or academic level.
