In recent years, the world has witnessed successive events and rapid developments that have made the process of change inevitable in most countries. This change has raised concerns in some communities, as it may affect their values, principles, customs, and traditions. Libya is one of these communities that has undergone rapid changes affecting its cohesion and stability, leading to the emergence of attitudes, values, and patterns of thinking that differ from the nature of Libyan Arab society. Therefore, there is a need for the state, like other countries, to use the educational system to preserve the core values and principles of the society. Through this work, we emphasize the importance of systematically reproducing the relationship between education in Libya and citizenship. Despite the challenges facing our Libyan society, it is possible to achieve this through community involvement and teacher qualification. Supporting and enhancing the professional capacities of teachers is essential for them to develop minds and build balanced, open, and influential personalities on national issues. Despite the challenges facing Libyan teachers, we must consider improving their material and professional conditions. In previous years, teachers did not enjoy an income that allowed them to live a dignified life and often had to work in additional jobs that did not correspond to their educational mission. This marginalization of teachers hurts the issue of the nation and citizenship
