This study delves into the life and contributions of Ka'b b. Mālik al-Ashqarī al-Azdī, a prominent poet, warrior, and orator during the Umayyad era, who played a significant role in the Islamic conquests in the region of Khurasan. The primary objective of this article is to elucidate the substantial and multifaceted media role assumed by this distinguished poet, with a meticulous evaluation of the degree of efficacy achieved therein. Furthermore, it seeks to clarify the impact of Tribalism on the media role of the Arabs from pre-Islamic times to the later Islamic periods.
