This academic paper conducts a comprehensive study on the patterns and evolution of criminal activities in Al Jabal Al Akhdar region during the period from 1999 to 2008, employing rigorous geographical research methodologies. Furthermore, it includes a comparative analysis of these statistical findings with those pertaining to adjacent areas, namely Derna, Al-Marj, and Al-Batnan. The study not only aims to categorize the types of criminal activities prevalent in the region but also seeks to identify the root causes, thereby facilitating relevant authorities in formulating effective control and mitigation strategies.
