Abstract

This study aims to identify the reality of empowering breadwinner women in Libyan society cognitively, socially, and economically. This study relies on the descriptive approach by describing the reality of empowering breadwinner women in the Awjila region for a sample of breadwinner women in the region, who number 80 breadwinner women, regardless of their marital status. Due to the homogeneity of the study population, a random sample of (20) female breadwinners was chosen from it with a representation rate of (25%). Also, this study relies on the interview form to collect data. The study reached several results, the most important of which is that the female breadwinner was not empowered cognitively. This is due to her lack of participation in courses and workshops and her inability to complete her education level due to early marriage in rural communities.
