This research explores the management of monuments and heritage in Libya, shedding light on the challenges and problems facing these sectors. The research examines the institutional history of monument and heritage management in Libya and highlights weaknesses in organization and protection. It also addresses the role of the previous regime and its policies in neglecting monuments and lacking emphasis on their preservation. The research discusses the factors contributing to the deterioration of Libyan monuments and heritage and presents a vision for the future aimed at developing monument and heritage management in Libya, enhancing protection, and promoting community awareness.
