The Phenomenon of Preposition and Postposition in the Poetry of Abu al-Hasan Ali Ibn Muhammad al-Tahami

The meditator of Arabic poetry finds Thami one of the poets who lived in the Abbasid era, when the Abbasid state was disputed by factors of decay, and despite these circumstances, the poet was able to produce poetry characterized by the quality of meanings, and ease of pronunciation, which is worthy of study. This paper attempt to identify the places of deletion, And the purposes for which the poet omitted an element of the nominal sentence, or real, in his poetry. An analytical approach based on correct analysis of the verses was used to reach the meanings intended by the poet, and the purposes for which the poet is omitted from the elements of the sentence. The study concluded that precedence of the predicate on the subject came with two sections of obligatory, and permissible, and the mandatory was more used when the poet, and the precedence came in both to benefit the allocation, and that Al-Tohamy agreed with linguists from Basra to provide the predicate of kan wakhiwatuha on their names, as well as linguists from Kufic on Provide the condition answer on the tool and the verb.
