This study aims to understand the nature of the role played by various social development institutions in the political upbringing of Libyan youth. The study surveyed 100 students from both genders in secondary schools in the city of El-Beida. It employed a descriptive methodology and used a questionnaire form for data collection. The study revealed several findings, including that political content in concurrent political upbringing processes tends to overshadow the overall social upbringing process. This influence occurs within families, schools, and through media channels. The results also indicate that the political upbringing process through these sources is random, lacking a plan or organizational governance, and is influenced solely by the political conditions prevalent in Libyan society.
