Abstract

Following the revolutions in several Arab countries, the disintegration of structures and institutions, along with deep-rooted imbalances and injustices, has fueled a crisis of expectations. Aspirations collided with existing crises, creating a temporal gap between political liberation and the establishment of effective institutions. This study explores the intricate relationship between expectations, institutions, and time, emphasizing the need for effective management, planning, and communication to bridge the temporal gap and address the crisis of expectations. By providing valuable insights, this research offers guidance for decision-makers and managers in similar contexts, aiming to enhance institutional performance and fulfill the aspirations of the revolutionaries.
