Abstract

The subject of this study revolves around the geography of educational services in the city of Al-Bayda. It will focus on the primary education stage within the city. This topic falls within the realm of geographic services, a contemporary trend in geographical studies that explores services of various types and levels. Geographic services concentrate on studying the geographical distribution of services, their locations, influencing factors, the relationship between services and the population in both urban and rural centers, and the population's service needs based on their levels. The increased interest in studying services and their various activities began after World War II, reflecting the natural growth in service types, levels, sizes, and those involved, whether in advanced or developing countries. This has become a clear phenomenon attracting researchers in various fields, including economics, geography, sociology, as well as those interested in planning, development, and political affairs.
