Abstract

The main purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between positive thinking and  methods of coping the stressful events of daily life among the study sample, In addition, the second purpose was to discover whether there were differences between teachers in the level of positive thinking, and coping with  stressful daily life events in some demographic variables (teacher gender, specialization), To achieve this, the researcher followed the descriptive correlational approach, To collect the data of the study, the positive thinking scale of Anger, Wiskini and the translation of the stoker, and the scale of methods of coping with stressful daily life events by Leonardo Boone and prepared by: Ali Abdel Salam Ali, The sample included (357) male and female teachers.    The results showed that the research sample has a high level of positive thinking at a significance level of 0.0001, the results also showed a high level of methods of coping with stressful life events at a significance level of 0.0001, however. The results did not show any significant differences due to the gender variable in the level of thinking, While differences appeared between the two types in the methods of coping with stressful daily life events at a significance level of 0.05 in favor of teachers, The findings did not show differences due to specialization, whether in positive thinking or methods of coping with stressful daily life events, In addition, the research found a statistically significant correlation  between positive thinking and methods of coping with stressful daily life events.
