This research aims to study the color symbolism in the poetry of Lotfi Abdel-Latif, as color gives the poetic text a high artistic energy that elevates it from ordinary color sybolism to meanings that explore the poet's internal and etenal visions. Color represents an aesthetic feature in poetry and is considered an important factor of artistic construction, carrying artistic meanings that reveal a unique language in the poetic text. It also prevents feelings of boredom when reading literary texts, as color "gives life and existence a value that cannot be ignored. Can we imagine seeing only one color? Can we sense the beauty if colors disappeared from the earth and everything was colorless? A terrifying world appears as an endless desert with no water, trees, shade, or end. This imagination leads to aversion and boredom for there is no life without color ,And perhaps this study reveals to us the symboism of colors in the poetry of Lotfi Abdel-Latif, and highlights the aesthetic dimensions achieved through the emotional involvement of the recipient, as they receive the poem on one hand, and in determining the deep reading of the poem obtained through the suggestive meaning that color adds to it from another perspective.
