This research focuses on the ancient city of Hadrianopolis (Driana), located in Libya. The precise location of the city has been a subject of debate due to the lack of clear evidence in the modern site. The study indicates that the current site of Driana is an Arabic distortion of the Roman name Hadrianopolis, which was given to the city in ancient times. Fieldwork has been conducted, successfully identifying the original site of Hadrianopolis and discovering some Byzantine buildings and ancient streets. Tombs and inscriptions indicating the presence of Jewish residents and slaves have also been found in the city. Various artifacts from the Roman and pre-Roman periods have been studied, clarifying that the city may have been built on the ruins of a site called Caucli Vicus. It is believed that Hadrianopolis was situated approximately halfway between the cities of Usperides and Toukhira. This research contributes significantly to the understanding of the ancient history and culture of the region
