Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of mindfulness among third and fourth-year law students at the University of Benghazi, Al-Marj branch, and to identify each of the five dimensions of mindfulness (description, observation, acting in the moment, not judging internal experiences, and not reacting to internal experiences). The Five Factors Mindfulness Scale (FFMQ) developed by (baer, et al, 2006) was used, and the instrument was applied to a sample of (100) third and fourth-year law students. The results of the study showed that the level of mindfulness was within the average range, and the students were distinguished by a clear high level in the observation dimension, compared to a low level in the two affective dimensions related to not judging internal experiences and not reacting to them, while the dimensions of description and acting consciously were at an average level.
