Abstract

The book explores a crucial contemporary intellectual topic, "Globalization," addressing its significance within the framework of Islamic thought. It delves into the relationship between Islamic thought and globalization, considering the latter as a prominent phenomenon of the new world order. The author examines the attempts to impose globalization globally, emphasizing the clash between this new paradigm and the values and ethics of diverse civilizations, especially Islamic civilization. The book argues that the cultural dimension plays a vital role in the dissemination of globalization, and it anticipates a defensive stance from non-Western civilizations, particularly regarding religious identity.
