Author Guidelines

Publication Terms and Conditions

1. Research papers and studies related to humanities and social sciences are accepted from all researchers and specialists in both Arabic and English.
2. The submitted research must be original, sound in language and style, follow correct scientific methodology, and adhere to established scientific research standards and criteria.
3. The research must not be extracted from any previous scientific work (book, thesis, dissertation, paper), and must not have been previously published or presented at a conference or scientific symposium.
4. The general plagiarism rate must not exceed 20% of the total word count, as determined by the Turnitin plagiarism detection tool.
5. Researchers must create an account on the journal's website, format the paper according to the template provided on the site, and then upload it to the platform. In case of technical difficulties during submission, please contact us at: jour@omu.edu.ly
6. The first page of the research must include all data regarding the researcher(s) and their affiliations, including: Name, Department, Institution, Country, City, and Email (as shown in the journal template).
7. The research must include abstracts in both Arabic and English, along with five keywords placed at the beginning of the paper. Automated translation (e.g., Google Translate) must not be used for the English abstract. Each abstract should not exceed 200 words.
8. The total word count of the research should be between 5,000 and 10,000 words.
9. Main and sub-headings must be written in Simplified Arabic, font size 14, Bold.
10. For the body text, use Simplified Arabic (size 14, Normal) for Arabic research, and Times New Roman (size 12, Normal) for English research, with 1 cm line spacing.
11. Images and figures must be clear, numbered, and titled (above the figure). Use Simplified Arabic for titles. The minimum resolution is 300 x 300 pixels (up to 400 x 400 pixels). Images must be in PNG/JPEG format with a maximum size of 4 MB, and figures in png or jpeg.
12. Tables must be typed, numbered, and titled (above the table) using Simplified Arabic, font size 10.
13. Citation (Documentation): The researcher must document information using a set of primary sources and references. Researchers can follow one of the two following styles:
    • First Style: In-text citation following the APA (American Psychological Association) style, mentioning the author's last name, year of publication, and page number. (Please review the specific policies on the journal's website).
    • Second Style: End-of-research documentation following the Endnotes style, placed after the conclusion and recommendations, numbered sequentially from the beginning of the research to the end.
