Abstract

This study addresses the issue of repetition in Surah Al-Qamar from the Quran. The research focuses on the use of the letter "raa" as repetition in the verses of the Surah, in addition to the repetition of certain words, phrases, and styles. The study consists of an introduction and three sections. The introduction includes an overview of scholars' opinions on the issue of repetition, which varied between those who consider it negative and monotonous and those who see it as a useful rhetorical phenomenon. The first section discusses the repetition of sounds in the Surah, where the sounds were counted, revealing that the Surah contains 1521 sounds. The second section examines the repetition of words in the Surah and their impact on creative meaning. The third section explores the repetition of phrases, sentences, and styles. The Surah consists of 55 verses, some of which are repeated, and this repetition has proven to play a clear role in highlighting meaning and significance. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of research in the Quran and the necessity of understanding and exploring it through continuous research efforts.
