Abstract

In the Arab context, the problem of achieving good governance in the countries that witnessed the Arab Spring arises. Can the imported Western model be the magical solution to these problems? Or should we build our state on our own foundations, adhering to the principles of consultation derived from the teachings of Islam? The discussion focuses on attempting to integrate democracy and consultation, but it is an impractical attempt as the divine system requires a comprehensive framework that cannot be compared through scientific methods. We must adhere to the models of the divine system to build a civil state based on Islamic principles. Therefore, we should avoid relying entirely on imported democracy and hold onto our concepts, traditions, and history. We must strive to build an independent future that fulfills the aspirations of future generations while preserving our cultural and religious identity.
