This research focuses on the plants and animals in the region of Cyrenaica (Barqah) during the Greek era. The region is characterized by its excellent location and the Mediterranean climate, which provides a long growing season and three harvest seasons. The region is rich in fertile pastures and grasslands that support livestock farming and the habitat of wildlife. The study highlights the cultivated plant species and crops such as wheat and barley, as well as the types of fruits found in the area, including apples, pears, pomegranates, berries, and strawberries. This research serves as a valuable source for understanding the natural environment and agricultural economy in Cyrenaica during the Greek era.
