This research examines the process of Islamization and Arabization of the Barqah region in Morocco from 642 to 1171 CE. The study aims to understand the transformation of the region from a Christian society to an Islamic one and the challenges of this historical transition. The research explores the spread of Christianity in the Barqah region and the role of Jews and Berbers in transmitting the Christian faith. It also highlights the influence of Roman authority and pagan persecution on the spread of Christianity. Furthermore, the research addresses the spread of different Christian denominations in the region and the religious conflicts that emerged among them. Additionally, it indicates the persistence of pagan elements in the Berber society despite the spread of Christianity. The research concludes that the process of Islamization and Arabization of the Barqah region was complex and characterized by the shifting influence of different religious forces.
