Abstract

The study aimed to identify the areas of women's empowerment (economic, political, cultural, and social) as provided by the Girls of Libya Association. It also sought to identify the obstacles that hinder the implementation of the association's empowerment efforts for Libyan women, as well as to assess the impact of the services provided by the association on the beneficiaries of its various activities. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and relied primarily on interviews as a data collection tool. The study concluded that there are many associations and organizations concerned with girls' affairs in Libya, one of which is the Girls of Libya Association. This association works to uphold the rights of girls and empower them in all aspects of their lives, including education, health, counseling and psychological support, leadership, and political participation. The Girls of Libya Association focuses on raising awareness and advocating for girls' issues and their role in society. It also provides legal and social support to Libyan girls who face discrimination or violence. The association provides suitable educational and training programs that contribute to enhancing girls' skills and economic empowerment. Additionally, it offers social assistance and psychological support to girls in times of crises and personal challenges.
