The application of rational choice theory in politics is close to reality;
Because the idea of (public interest) is an unclear concept, and may be
mixed with the interest of policy practitioners, but the normative (ethical)
criticism of the rational choice theory is based on its fulcrum in the analysis
on the individual, and that the action is moral when it is rational and the
trade-offs are based on the calculations. The last criticism is that the
components of human action are not only rational, but that the individual -
as many philosophers and scientists have said - is a mixture of rationality
and irrationality With regard to the Libyan presidential elections.
