    Al-Mukhtar Journal of Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Omar Al-Mukhtar University. The journal currently publishes scholarly work in medical and health sciences, including pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, public health, biomedical sciences, laboratory medicine, human biology, clinical and applied health sciences, and related interdisciplinary fields.

    The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and scientifically sound studies that contribute to knowledge, practice, education, and research in medical and health sciences.

    The journal’s archive includes earlier volumes and issues published under a broader scientific scope. These archived contents are preserved for scholarly record, citation continuity, and long-term access.

  • Al-Mukhtar Journal of Basic Sciences

    Al-Mukhtar Journal of Basic Sciences (MJBS) is a free, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Omar Al-Mukhtar University. The journal is issued three times a year in English and is dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the field of basic sciences. It was established in 2015 under its former title, the Libyan Journal of Basic Sciences.

    As an open-access journal, MJBS provides immediate and unrestricted access to the full text of all published articles, free of charge to readers and institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the published content without financial, legal, or technical barriers.

    The journal is also free of charge for authors and does not require any article processing charges (APCs) or publication fees.

    Al-Mukhtar Journal of Engineering Research (MJER) is a free, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Omar Al-Mukhtar University. Published annually in English, the journal serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of original and high-quality research across a broad range of engineering disciplines.

    MJER follows an open-access policy that ensures immediate and unrestricted access to all published content, free of charge to readers and institutions.     The journal does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs) or publication fees. Submission, review, and publication in MJER are completely free of charge.

    Al-Mukhtar Journal of Social Sciences (MJSSc) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal committed to the dissemination of high-quality research in the field of social sciences, published by Omar Al-Mukhtar University. Since its establishment in 2003, the journal has published original articles in Arabic, English, and French, and is issued three times per year (April, August, and December). 

    MJSSc welcomes contributions from global researchers and provides a cost-free platform for publishing, supporting scholarly exchange without financial or accessibility barriers. The journal is available in both electronic and print versions, with printed copies issued upon request.
