Abstract

Abstract: This research analyzed the concept of science according to E-Hasadi, in order to highlight his contribution to the philosophy of science. The research issue was crystallized in: What is science as El-Hasadi conceived it? Can it be said that it has its own standards in dealing with the concept of science that can be deduced? The research topic was presented in an introduction, four sections, and a list of results. The topic of the first section was the rationalization of science (the criterion of the best option in light of the alternatives), while the topic of the second section was knowledge and science (the criterion of determinism and indefiniteness), and the topic of the third section was science and technology (the criterion of mixing goals), then the topic of the fourth section was the value of science (the criterion of being And what it should be.) The results of the research crystallized, in general, in: Science, according to El-Hasadi, is a rational, speculative (probabilistic) human activity that has values at its foundation. Its practitioner should seek the scientific method and aim - only - to explain and predict phenomena. This represents - in the researcher's opinion - a contribution and addition to the philosophy of science.
