Research in measurement among Islamic thinkers is connected to contemplation of Quranic verses, where the meanings of truth, error, justice, and legislation are highlighted. The influence of Aristotelian logic and translation on the development of measurement among Muslims, as Arab Muslims blend Aristotelian logic with the foundations of Islamic civilization and reveal weaknesses in this logic. The notion of "measure the absent based on the present" is an important addition presented by Islamic thinkers to logical measurement, as they use it to argue for issues such as resurrection, the afterlife, rewards, and punishments. Despite its prevalence in theological schools, this evidence has been criticized by many thinkers. This study examines Ibn Hazm's position on this evidence, his different opinions, and his strong arguments against it. The study aims to clarify the stance of theologians on measurement and shed light on the key issues that occupied their thoughts and methodologies in reasoning, as well as Ibn Hazm's critique of measurement among theologians. The study relies on a historical, analytical, and comparative approach to understand the era, analyze texts, and compare the opinions of predecessors and successors of Ibn Hazm.
