The Green Mountain region in northeastern Jamahiriya is famous for its climatic and natural conditions suitable for agricultural plant and animal production, in addition to many other agricultural products such as forest products, medicinal and aromatic plants, wild animals, etc., and although the region represents permanent oil from natural and agricultural resources, it will not remain so if it continues. The unscientific use of fertilizers and agricultural medicines in large quantities with the aim of increasing agricultural production and achieving profit for the owners of the approximately 2,400 farms without carefully enough consideration of the environment and its natural balances and the impact of this on humans in particular and on the elements and components of the environment in general. The economic losses that society and the environment will bear as a result of the incorrect and unscientific use of fertilizers, pesticides and other chemical means used in agricultural production will exceed many times the temporary profits that the farmer makes at the same time without looking at the future of his farm, his family and himself, let alone looking at the society and the environment that He lives in it.
