The Possibility of Using Hedging Tools and Policies in Banking Risk Management - "An Applied Study on Commercial Banks Operating in Libya"

This study aimed to clarify the nature and components of hedging tools and policies and the possibility of using them in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking risk management and to achieve the objectives of the study, the deductive and inductive approach was followed, and the study community consisted of banks. The study sample included the administrative levels of the departments and sections of (risk, accounting, and internal audit) in the banks under study, and the questionnaire was used as a means of collecting data for testing the study hypotheses. The study reached several results, the most important of which is the possibility of using hedging tools and policies in managing banking risks in Libyan commercial banks.
