This study focuses on the analysis of dedication as a text that represents a sign with its own self-contained elements, like other signs that contribute to the semiotic path we construct as we interpret the text. The comprehensive understanding of a poetic text requires approaching collections of poetry as complete entities, leaving no room for partial treatment when discussing a poetic text that embodies a holistic vision. The only way to achieve this is through a thorough examination of all aspects of the collection under study, and for that comprehensive understanding to be reflected in the analysis.
