This paper presents a study of the Diwan al-Istifa' in the Seljuk State, highlighting its significance as a key financial apparatus specialized in the collection and organization of state revenues and expenditures. The article traces the role of the Mustawfi, responsible for the Diwan, detailing their duties, and providing a list of the most important individuals, both men and women, who held this position along with their notable assistants.
