The phenomenon of migration is considered one of the problems of the current era. The increasing growth of migration in its various forms has prompted a group of researchers to investigate the factors that drive human groups to move outside their geographical area. This spatial mobility is no longer limited to movement from one place to another; rather, it has begun to affect multiple levels, particularly the agricultural level, which in turn impacts the socio-spatial and economic structure of the original rural community. These effects are particularly evident in areas suffering from social fragility. This study examines migration and agricultural dynamics in the Tafrata Plain in northeastern Morocco, shedding light on the relationships and interactions between them and their implications for socio-spatial and economic transformations and the organization of the rural area in general.
