The current study aims to determine the extent of existence basic criteria for formulating dimensions of strategic orientation to Faculty of Economics - Omar Al- Mukhtar University depend on perspective teaching staff and postgraduate students. Therefore, a descriptive analytical method has been used, and the size of convenience sample were determined (61) items. The study reached to the degree of existence basic criteria for formulating dimensions of Strategic orientation to Faculty of Economics was a moderate. The study results indicate that are significant differences between teaching staff members and postgraduate students according to the degree of existence basic criteria to formulating dimensions of strategic orientation. Study recommends that the management of faculty should pay more consideration to formulating strategic orientation according to basic quality criteria in higher education institutions.References
